About the D4_diagdata_1 Patch

This patch corrects an issue which caused diag dumps to fail on hosts with a large number of domains. NOTE: Installing this patch does not interrupt services.

The patch can be removed (uninstalled). Patch removal also does not interrupt any services.

Installing the Patch

To install this patch:
  1. Use a telnet client to connect to the administration command-line interface on port 23 on your Mirapoint appliance.

  2. Log in as an administrator.

  3. Issue the following command: 
            Version
    If the result returned is any version between 4.2.3-GA and 4.3.6-GA, you can install this patch.

  4. Install the D4_diagdata_1 patch using the following CLI command:

    5. Update Install ftp://ftp.mirapoint.com/pub/updates/D4_diagdata_1

Always check the system log after installing a patch regardless of whether installation succeeds or fails.
