About the D4_1_9_sysstore Patch

This patch fixes the problem associated with RG610, M610, M6100, RG700, M700 and M7000 hardware where the system store gets consumed over time.

NOTE: This patch does not reboot the system or disturb any of its services. The patch may be uninstalled, also without affecting services.

Installing the Patch

To install this patch:
  1. Use a telnet client to connect to the administration command-line interface on port 23 on your Mirapoint appliance.

  2. Log in as an administrator.

  3. Issue the following command: 
            Version
    If version 4.1.9 displays, you can install this patch.

  4. Install the D4_1_9_sysstore patch using the following CLI command: 
    
        Update Install ftp://ftp.mirapoint.com/pub/mert/D4_1_9_sysstore

Always check the system log after installing a patch regardless of whether installation succeeds or fails.
