About the D3_10_6_webcal Patch
This patch addresses three problems associated with ConnectR
and WebCal (Standard and Corporate Editions):
- Some event IDs were improperly formatted by calendar clients
when sending data to the appliance, resulting in corrupted data on the
appliance (PR 48428). This patch cleans up incorrect data on the
appliance, while a separate client patch
(E3_10_ConnectR_4_1_4) provides a repaired client.
- The appliance could get into an infinite loop between ConnectR
and WebCal, while trying to delete an event (PR 48368).
- ConnectR could fail to update an event on the appliance, with the error
"Failed adding to event" (PR 48468).
NOTE: This patch restarts the Calendar service. It does not
reboot the appliance. The patch can be uninstalled, with the same effect.
Installing the Patch
To install this patch:
- Use a telnet client to connect to the administration command-line
interface on port 23 on your Mirapoint appliance.
- Log in as an administrator.
- Issue the following command:

If version 3.10.6 displays, you can install this patch.
- Install the D3_10_6_webcal patch using the following CLI command:
Update Install ftp://ftp.mirapoint.com/pub/updates/D3_10_6_webcal.mpu3
Always check the system log after installing a patch regardless of whether
installation succeeds or fails.
